Plug-in for MS Word

Installing this Plug-in for Word is simple with the wizard-like interface, which installs a new navigation toolbar into your MS Word application. Make sure to enable ActiveX controls on your browser before installing.

Performing a mail merge is broken out into 5 steps:

1. Perform a Mail Merge from MS Word. A new toolbar option in MS Word enables the user to choose a Sugar module and field values for the campaign.
2. Define Templates and the fields give more customization by defining additional fields to begin the merge process.
3. Adding recipients to the document and the plug-in automatically detects the module & imports the defined fields.
4. Upload finished documents into the Horizon-screen, and store the information when complete within the Document module.
5. Identify MS Word Mail Merge Templates within the SugarCRM system. This allows the system to perform a mail merge and export the data afterwards.
